The National Autistic Society Cambridge Branch have been organising training days for parents and carers of a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in three key areas:
The training will provide accurate information about your and your child's rights and entitlements in these areas and will be delivered by the National Autistic Society in 2 half day sessions.
Education: Friday 4th May 2012, 10am-2pm (Room 2)
Welfare and Community Care: Thursday 24th May 2012, 10am-1pm (Room 3)
Work to Success is a tried and tested job coaching programme for people with autistic spectrum conditions, supporting individuals via bespoke One2One coaching to overcome the barriers to paid work, volunteering and vocational training. The programme supports people to:
Are you a young person or adult with autism or Asperger syndrome?
Are you looking for a support worker who understands autism and Asperger syndrome?
The National Autistic Society may be able to help. You can buy your support from our Support Services team, from one hour a week to as many hours as you need a week.

If you want to meet and socialise with other people (18+) on the autistic spectrum who may have shared interests with you, just come along. There is no upper age limit for this group, all adults are welcome. The club meets on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 7.30 till 9.30pm. The next meetings are:
