Volunteers (male, 18-35) wanted for a new study into object vision in autism (updated)

Researchers at the Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit and the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge are looking for volunteers for a new study into object vision in autism.

Over 18 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Social Club

If you want to meet and socialise with other people (18+) on the autistic spectrum who may have shared interests with you, just come along.  There is no upper age limit for this group, all adults are welcome.  The club meets on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 7.30 till 9.30pm.  The next meetings are:

Parent support meetings (for parents of children and adults with ASD)

The next support group meetings for parents of children and adults with an ASD will be on:

  • Wednesday, January 11th (Room 2)
  • Monday, February 6th (Room 3)
  • Monday, March 5th (Room 3)
  • Monday, April 2nd (Room 3)

7.30-9.30pm at the Meadows Community Centre, 1 St Catharine's Road, Cambridge CB4 3XJ (contact number for the Meadows Centre is 01223 508140).

 

Meet and Play pre-school support group

Parents and carers of preschool children who have social communication difficulties are warmly invited to drop in to our FREE  'Meet and Play' sessions: The first sessions of next year will be on:

  •  January 10th
  • February 7th
  • March 6th
  • April 3rd

Venue: 1.15-2.45pm  Cherry Hinton Children's Centre, the Community Wing, Cherry Hinton Junior School, Fulbourn Old Drift, Cambridge CB1 9ND.
