About Cambridge NAS

Our aims as a group are:

  • Information and Signposting: Become “THE” one stop information source on Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for the wider community.
  • To raise awareness, listen and support individuals with ASD and their families.
  • Lobby for earlier intervention for children diagnosed with ASD.
  • We will campaign for each individual with ASD to have access to the right kind of support and education that is specifically tailored to their needs. 
  • We will invite service providers to work with us to explore and extend existing recreational, and educational and work opportunities.
  • We will create opportunities for individuals and their families to meet like minded people, share experiences and information.
  • We aim explore training opportunities for our members
  • We aim to explore opportunities and promote the development of community safety training, to insure optimum independence for individuals with ASC.
  • Advise employers with regards supporting their employees that experience symptoms of ASC, and do our best to ensure equality in the work place.
  • We will actively support all individuals touched by the Autistic Spectrum.
