Cambridge NAS Professional Launch Event

We recently held an exciting launch and networking event aimed at professionals working with the people who have an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD).The launch took place at the Meadows Community Centre on Friday 29th January 2010.

Several influential figures within the ASD community gave insightful and informative presentations; speakers included Robert Pritchett of the NAS, Mark Wharton (speaker diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome) and Dr Joseph Simon (co-chair of Cambridge NAS).

Over 70 professionals attended the event including a number of high profile delegates such as David Howarth MP for Cambridge and Counsellor Ross McPherson, the Mayor of Cambridge.

During the event the new NAS branch mapped out ambitious and inspiring plans for the future which will be developed over the coming months.
