Inclusion Project Cambridgeshire

The Inclusion Project is here to support disabled children and young people access mainstream activities close to where they live.

It is the child or young person who chooses which activity they would like to attend. It may be a club such as Brownies or Beavers, a sport club or class or even something like street dancing or drumming.

The service offers:

Children and young people who will need continued 1:1 support: guiding them to mainstream providers that are skilled and trained to support their needs or where external care providers can be engaged on a long term basis.

1:1 time limited support: introducing children and young people to mainstream activities leading to the individual taking up direct payments or individual budgets for continued inclusion.

Negotiating inclusion for children and young people into mainstream provision who need no additional support.

Referral to the Inclusion Project is either through your own Social Worker or by telephoning the Aiming High Team 01480 376542
