Contact a Family, Scope, Disability Cambridgeshire and Cambridgeshire County Council have kindly agreed to help us
fund 3 free information sessions around Cambridgeshire:
in Over (5 December 2011),
Wisbech (1 February 2012) and
Ely (18 April 2012).
We hope other organisations who can help with housing, work and money matters will join us on the day (check the pinpoint website for the latest information).

This annual two-day conference will be a unique opportunity for senior professionals to discuss best practice and share learning.
If you have a question or concern regarding your under 5s speech or language pop into one of the below sessions for an informal chat and some advice
A new learning programme for young people and adults with social communication difficulties such as
Asperger Syndrome.
The programme will support independent living and may help towards gaining employment.

This programme has been running successfully for seven years and is new for the Fenland area. Clients may work towards an OCN qualification.

The NAS is a member of the Disability Benefits Consortium (DBC) which is running a survey to find out more about disabled people’s experiences of claiming benefits.
With the Government considering lots of changes to benefits like Employment and Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance, it’s really important that we have good evidence about how the system can be made to work for people with autism and their families.

A free workshop by the Cambian Group
The Cambian Group will be offering a free workshop for parents on 6th April in the Cambridgeshire area. This workshop will cover topics such as therapeutic programmes, communication friendly methods and individualised learning programmes (predictability and flexibility).
