NEW Cambridge NAS Pre-School Meet and Play Starts this October

Parents and carers of preschool children who have social communication difficulties are warmly invited to drop in to 'Meet and Play'.

Starts Tuesday October 5th 2010, and then on the first Tuesday of every month,1:15pm to 2:45pm. Cherry Hinton Children's Centre, the Community Wing, Cherry Hinton Junior School, Fulbourn Old Drift, Cambridge CB1 9ND.

New NAS campaign 'You need to know' launches soon, a call for better mental health services for children with Autism

New NAS campaign 'You need to know' launched 8th June 2010

We are launching a new campaign, You Need To Know, which will demand better mental health services for children with autism. Autism is not a mental health problem, but research shows that 70% of children with autism have one or more mental health problems. This does not have to happen.

NAS Managing Money workbook now available

New resources

NAS have recently developed two new resources - a website and a workbook to help people on the autism spectrum learn about managing their money. Both are funded by the Financial Services Authority, as part of its National Strategy for Financial Capability.

Two Cambridge NAS Branch Talks by David Moat coming up

Both talks will be held at the Meadows Community Centre, 7.30 pm in Room 2.
