The government is consulting on improving the Blue Badge (Disabled Parking) Scheme in England. In particular, the proposals are about improving the enforcement regime where Blue Badges are used fraudulently; extending the eligibility criteria; and funding to help local authorities to establish independent medical assessments.
The consultation closes on 2 July 2010.
The School Exclusions Project will provide free representation for parents of permanently excluded school pupils at Governors Disciplinary Committee and Independent Appeal Panel hearings. All the representatives will be BPP law students who have undertaken specific training in exclusions law and will be mentored by Doughty Street barristers.
